Can you ace this financial literacy quiz?

In a report, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau found that saving and staying out of debt are keys to financial well-being. It also found that 40% of Americans struggle to make ends meet.

Here are the 10 statements researchers asked more than 6,000 adults in order to gauge financial well-being:

I am concerned that the money I have or will save won’t last.

How often does this statement apply to you?

Giving a gift for a wedding, birthday or other occasion would put a strain on my finances for the month.

I have money left over at the end of the month.

I am behind with my finances.

My finances control my life.

If you respond in a financially healthy fashion to six or more of these statements you are above average and likely meeting daily expenses without breaking a sweat. Fewer than six healthy responses signals financial trouble.
